Dr. Ramin Altaha was an Associate Professor of Medicine from West Virginia University. He earned his medical degree from University of Hamburg/Germany in 1994. The result of his dissertation was published in journal Cancer in 1996. He completed his internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital affiliated with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD in 2001, and his fellowship in hematology/oncology at West Virginia University in 2004. He was principle investigator of many investigator-initiated and cooperative/industry clinical trials. His pioneer research in breast, head and neck and brain cancer contributed significantly to better understanding and treatment of Cancer. His professional membership includes; American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Society of Hematology (ASH), American Society of Neuro-Oncology (SNO) and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). Dr. Altaha is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. |
