About Anna Dee-O’Rourke, MSN, NP-C
Anna Dee-O’Rourke, MSN, NP-C is our board certified nurse practitioner who joined the Pacific Cancer Institute the summer of 2015. Anna obtained her degree in Nursing in Seattle, Washington, and began her nursing career on the Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant unit at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. She went on to obtain her Masters in Nursing and degree in Adult Health Nurse Practitioner at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She subsequently began her nurse practitioner career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and brought with her expertise gained from the country’s top hospital for cancer care. As our nurse practitioner, Anna provides assistance with the management of our patients’ disease process and works with our multidisciplinary team to deliver specific aspects of care, discussing options, assessments for cancer recurrence, and managing symptoms that occur secondary to treatment. Anna had not anticipated a career in oncology, however cannot imagine working in any other department. She is especially happy to continue her career in her new home of Maui.
